For just one night, the central bus station is transformed into an airport runway. Witness two unemployed air hostesses, as they embark on a thought-provoking journey, performed by artists Elise Ehry and Kitty Maria. Through clever references from the world of female service workers, they challenge the everyday norms we often overlook. Is the stereotypical image of classic female labour, defined by humility, submissiveness, and impractical uniforms, natural or imposed? To create the precise atmosphere they desire, Ehry and Maria crafted their own costumes and instruments especially for Gala HBF.
